Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This policy explains, in plain English, what data DomainLint collects, why we collect it, and what we do (and never do) with it. Questions? support@domainlint.com.
What we store
- Your account email — to sign you in, send alerts you've asked for, and contact you about your subscription.
- The domain names you add — that's the whole point of the service.
- DNS check results — the results of the checks we run against your domains (DNS records, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, MTA-STS, blacklist status, SSL and expiry dates), so we can show history and detect changes.
- DMARC aggregate reports — if you route DMARC reports to us, we store them for 13 months so you get a full year of trend data, then delete them.
If you join the waitlist, we store your email, the domain-count range you selected, and where the signup came from — nothing else.
What we don't do
- We never sell your data. To anyone. For any reason.
- We don't use your data for advertising.
- We don't read your email — DMARC aggregate reports contain delivery statistics, not message content.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy — we never see or store your card number.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers under standard data-processing agreements. We keep access limited to what the service needs to run.
How long we keep it
Check results are kept while your account is active. DMARC aggregate reports are kept for 13 months on a rolling basis. If you delete your account, we delete your domains and check history within 30 days, keeping only what we're legally required to retain (for example, invoicing records held by Paddle).
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to export or delete the data we hold about you. Email support@domainlint.com and we'll handle it promptly.
