Terms of Service

These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and DomainLint. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If something here is unclear, email us at support@domainlint.com and we'll explain it.
What DomainLint is
DomainLint monitors domains you manage on behalf of your clients: DNS changes, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, blacklist listings, SSL certificates and domain expiry. It sends alerts and produces monthly reports. It is a monitoring tool — it does not change your DNS or fix issues for you, and it is not a guarantee that problems will never occur or that every issue will be caught.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the domains you add. Only add domains you manage or have permission to monitor. You must be acting on behalf of a business (DomainLint is a business-to-business service).
Free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No payment card is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, your account is paused until you subscribe — we never charge you automatically at the end of a trial you didn't convert.
Billing and payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, invoicing and sales tax; the charge on your statement will come from Paddle.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance, at the price shown when you subscribe. Annual plans are discounted (two months free). You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. If we change prices, existing subscriptions keep their price until you change plans.
Refunds
If you're unhappy, ask us for a refund within 14 days of any charge and we'll process it — see our refund policy for details.
Fair use
Each plan includes a domain limit. Don't attempt to abuse the service — for example by using it to monitor domains you have no relationship with at scale, reselling raw access to the service, or attempting to disrupt it. We may suspend accounts that do, after contacting you when practical.
Your data
We store the minimum needed to run the service: your account email, the domain names you add, the results of our checks, and DMARC aggregate reports (kept for 13 months). We never sell your data. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
Liability
DomainLint is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect losses — for example, lost business resulting from an email deliverability issue we didn't detect.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms, we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be confirmed], and disputes will be handled by the courts there.
